Sonos Inc. Key Account Manager - (AVS) Audio Video Specialty channel in Los Angeles, California

At Sonos we want to create the ultimate listening experience for our customers and know that it starts by listening to each other. As part of the Sonos team, you'll collaborate with people of all styles, skill sets, and backgrounds to realize our vision while fostering a community where everyone feels included and empowered to do the best work of their lives. Sonos is looking to hire a key account manager to lead and grow our Audio Video Specialty channel (AVS) in the US. AVS presents one of our most entrepreneurial opportunities as the channel is made up of 15 specialty retailers with diverse business models and value propositions to our customer. The channel provides some of the most premium retail experiences we have to offer in the US market. The key account manager is responsible for setting the channel strategy with the right programs and focus areas to deliver sustainable profitable growth. This individual will be the central leader of the channel, and coordinate activities and execution with cross functional support to ensure business objectives are delivered with precision on a quarterly and annual basis. Given the dynamic and constantly evolving nature of retail, the AVS key account manager will also own the new distribution strategy for the US. This involves leveraging our channel strategy framework to evaluate and occasionally operationalize new partners that can help Sonos achieve our brand and business goals. This role can be done from home. Building the world's leading sound experience starts with the experience we provide for our people. That's why we've been distributed from the start: initially between offices in Boston & Santa Barbara, and now with additional offices in Seattle and San Francisco. This role can be done from anywhere in the United States - any of our offices, or remotely from home. It's about impact, not location. What You'll Do Own the AVS and new distribution channel strategy and business plan, including quarterly and annual revenue and household forecasts. Manage a wide and diverse range of specialty retailers throughout the US across all elements of the business to unlock growth opportunities, mitigate business risks, and ultimately deliver Sonos favorable outcomes. Lead and coordinate internal retail account teams including deep collaboration with business operations, fulfillment, finance, accounting, and retail marketing. Build high quality account plans and execute with precision and impact. Conduct ongoing analysis and weekly reporting of key account business performance, market trends, and share performance to inform short and long term adjustments to forecast. You'll be an active member of a wider Americas retail team, collaborating with a team of account managers to share synergies, best practices, sharpen one another's thinking, and contribute to a high performing team and culture. What You'll Need Research shows that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds often don't apply for roles if they don't meet all the criteria. If you don't have 100% of the skills listed, we strongly encourage you to apply if interested. Basic Qualifications 8+ years of experience in customer facing retail roles and account management US based and able to travel throughout the US Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree Advanced verbal and written communication skills to influence internally Comfortable and effective presenting to large groups internally and externally Highly analytical and able to pull clear and actionable insights out of complex data Highly organized, ability to stay focused on top priorities Highly collaborative to develop productive working relationships with a wide range of functions Strategic mindset - including the ability to execute a vision Strong business acumen - adept and developing and managi
