PeopleReady Skilled Trades is hiring for Journey Level Concrete Finishers in Los Angeles, CA and surrounding Los Angeles County areas.

Note: The hourly rate for this position is $30 - $35 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.

Responsibilities:

  • Set forms & lay rebar Work on slopes building custom homes and units

  • Mix concrete, grout, & other concrete products by hand or mixing machine

  • Assemble & dismantle various types of forms made of wood and metal Work from blueprints to carry out tasks of the day

  • Install RAAC (Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) Screed and edge concrete on curbs, gutters, and sidewalks

  • Perform various other finishes: Broom finish, stamped concrete, stained concrete, aggregate finish, salt finish, etc.

  • Operate the following tools: Backhoe, trowel machine, concrete vibrator, concrete saw, transom, grinder, jackhammer, etc.

 Qualifications:

  • E-Verify: Eligible to work in the U.S.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience on commercial and/or residential construction sites.

  • Have tools of the trade & ability to bring them to the job site.
