Join the Department of Radiology, offering services across 5 hospitals and 30 locations in Los Angeles County. With a team of over 100 physician faculty members, we serve over 500,000 patients annually.

Under the leadership of the Vice Chair of Quality and the Director of HR for the Department of Radiology, the Peer Review/Credential RN Coordinator plays a key role in driving quality improvement within the Physician Peer Review/Credential Program.

In this role, you will leverage your clinical expertise to ensure the peer review process for inpatient and outpatient care is thorough and effective in evaluating professional practice standards. You will coordinate and manage the entire peer review process, including:

  • Conducting medical record reviews

  • Collecting and analyzing data

  • Tracking and following up on committee recommendations to ensure timely responses

Additionally, you will oversee the Peer Learning Program in collaboration with physician partners and present key findings, such as reporting variances between preliminary and final attending reports.

This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on quality of care while working closely with clinical and administrative leaders in the department.

Salary: $9,408.33 - $21,408.33 monthly

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor of Science (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).

  • Current State of California license/permit to practice professional nursing.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of hospital-based or ambulatory clinical experience, preferably in an imaging environment.

Preferred:

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in Peer Review, Quality Management & Performance Improvement, or Patient Safety/Risk Management
