Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Los Angeles, California. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for managing financial records and transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and collections within a private school environment. The assignment duration is approximately 2 months, but it could be extended.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

• Conduct regular reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy.

• Handle collections and the tracking of outstanding payments.

• Perform data entry operations to record financial transactions.

• Utilize software tools such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel to streamline bookkeeping processes.

• Oversee the processing and recording of all payroll transactions.

• Ensure accurate and timely month-end close processes.

• Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accurate representation of the company's financial transactions.

• Assist in the collection of tuition fees and other school-related payments.

• Write and manage manual checks as required by the organization.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Extensive knowledge in Bookkeeping

• Proficient in Data Entry

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Month End Close

• Knowledge in Payroll

• Proficiency in QuickBooks

• Experience in Collections
