    Position description

The Department of Neurobiology at UCLA seeks candidates to investigate the genetic, molecular, and neurobiological mechanisms underlying autism spectrum disorder and brain development. This will also focus to identify key regulatory pathways and synaptic processes to advance understanding of brain function and inform therapeutic strategies.. Applicants must possess an earned doctorate in neurobiology or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years post-doctoral research training in a relevant field of study. Successful candidates will exhibit outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills, leadership potential, and high ethical responsibility. A track record of publications in internationally recognized journals and dedication to collaborative, multidisciplinary research is required. Position will require teaching in core neuroscience courses.

Basic qualifications

Terminal degree in neurosciences or related field and five years of related postdoctoral experience.
