UCLA Health Administrative Supervisor, Pathology Administrative Services in Los Angeles, California

Description

As the Administrative Supervisor, you will lead a team dedicated to providing administrative support to the Faculty in the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine. Your team will manage various administrative services, including calendar management, travel arrangements, reimbursements, and conference coordination. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervise the daily operations of the Pathology Administrative Services, ensuring seamless workflow and optimal performance.

  • Provide guidance and support to a team of administrative professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

  • Managing all aspects of supervision, including hiring, performance management, discipline, and complaint resolution.

  • Implementing best practices and protocols to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Provide administrative support to Autopsy.

Salary Range: $68,800.00/year - $141,000.00/year

Qualifications

  • Prior supervisory experience.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Advanced organizational and project management skills.

  • Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and problem-solving.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, database management and timekeeping software.

  • Knowledge and/or experience working in an academic institution - preferred.
