Description We are inviting applicants for an Accounts Payable Specialist role in our Investment Management industry, located in Los Angeles, California. The position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity in our dynamic team. The role involves processing accounts and incoming payments, performing daily financial transactions, preparing bills and invoices, and managing vendor relationships among others.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and efficient processing of accounts and incoming payments in accordance with financial policies and procedures.

• Execution of day-to-day financial transactions, including verification, classification, computation, posting, and recording of accounts receivables' data.

• Preparation and management of bills, invoices, and bank deposits.

• Reconciliation of the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

• Verification of discrepancies and resolution of clients’ billing issues.

• Facilitation of invoice payments by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.

• Generation of detailed financial statements and reports regarding accounts receivable status.

• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems and Microsoft Excel to manage accounting functions.

• Efficient handling of Accounts Payable (AP), Check Processing, and Data Entry tasks.

• Management of Vendor Relationships and maintenance of Vendor Records. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or related role within the investment management industry

• Proficiency in accounting software systems

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Solid understanding and experience in accounting functions, specifically Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in check processing

• Proficiency in data entry and managing discrepancies

• Experience in managing payable invoices

• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships effectively

• Experience in maintaining vendor records.
