Job Goal:  To assist the maintenance of the district's physical school plants and grounds in condition of operating excellence so that full educational use of it may be made of it at all times.  To maintain all district buildings, equipment, and grounds, including general and technical repairs, to provide an atmosphere conductive to high quality educational, extracurricular and co-curricular learning activities.

1.

Make

general

and

technical

repairs

to

buildings,

grounds,

and

equipment

2.

Install

and

maintain

equipment,

necessary

to

program

operation

including,

but

not

limited

to,

sewage

treatment,

water

purification,

and

HVAC

computerized

operations.

Maintains,

programs,

and

inputs

district

HVAC

computer

equipment

as

needs

are

requested.

3. Report

major

repairs

to

building

Principals,

Transportation/Maintenance

Supervisor

or

Superintendent

and

seeks

bids

for

same,

as

requested.

Reports

immediately

to

Supervisor

any

damage

to

school

property

and/or

significant

maintenance

issues

4. Conduct

an

ongoing

program

of

general

and

preventative

maintenance,

upkeep

and

repair

5. Conduct

periodic

inspections

and

tests

of

equipment

and

systems

to

ensure

their

safe

condition

6. Coordinate

district

maintenance

and

repair

projects

7. Keep

an

inventory

of

maintenance

supplies

and

equipment

and

makes

requests

as

needed

8. Maintain

warranty

information

and

warranty

schedules

9. Move

furniture

or

equipment

between

and

among

various

buildings

as

required

for

various

activities

and

storage

as

directed

10. Comply

with

all

laws,

ordinances,

and

regulations

governing

work

11. Provide

oversight

of

maintenance

tasks

performed

by

custodial

staff

12. Mainta
