Responsibilities

As the Operations Recruiter at Eastman’s Longview, TX facility, you will be responsible for attracting highly motivated team members for a variety of positions. The majority of the positions you will support will be high volume manufacturing, operations, and skilled trades roles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in in-house operations recruiting, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for finding top talent, and strong data analysis and change management skills.

Responsibilities: • Administer the applicant tracking system and recruiting process, from the time the requisition is approved until the time the candidate is onboarded. • Partner with HR partners and TA colleagues to act as a business partner/strategic advisor • Partner with hiring managers to identify essential job qualifications and talents, develop sourcing strategies, and assess candidates. Influence and coach managers on identifying and landing the best talent for their team. Educate and develop managers’ skills in equitable and valid hiring practices. • Schedule interviews, facilitate debrief meetings, and extend offers • Develop pipelines of qualified candidates for present and future openings. Source candidates through various databases and LinkedIn using Boolean search techniques. • Review resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet the qualifications for open positions. • Ensure compliance throughout the recruiting and hiring process with all applicable policies, procedures and laws. • Plan, evaluate, research and recommend systematic or process improvements in the recruiting function. • Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidates’ fit for role • Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, including job description development, interview training, and candidate selection assistant • Identify and engage in networking opportunities, job fairs, and professional industry events to promote Eastman as an employer of choice. • Develop and execute diverse recruitment strategies • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new hires • Initiate and lead projects aimed at enhancing Longview recruitment efforts. • Effectively utilize data to draw insight and make recommendations and decisions • Influence and drive change management efforts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field highly preferred • 3+ years of full life-cycle talent acquisition experience required, including at least 2 years of in-house recruitment experience • Proven experience as a high-volume recruiter, with a strong preference for backgrounds in manufacturing or related industries. • A track record of commitment to prior employers • Proficiency in the use of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and LinkedIn Recruiter; Success Factors experience preferred • Proven experience developing and executing diverse recruiting strategies • Demonstrated ability to manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing to onboarding. • High level of professionalism, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Exceptional technical administrative skills, with proficiency in navigating and managing a variety of software programs and systems • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to analyze data and develop data-based recommendations • Change management and project management experience, along with the ability to influence without direct authority • Excellent collaboration skills and demonstrated bias for action
