We’re Hiring for a Road Supervisor in Longmont, CO!

Responsibilities:

• Investigates accidents, incidents, disputes, and disturbances in accordance with policy. Works collaboratively with outside agencies and authorities.

• Monitors operator performance and behavior, models passenger interaction skills, coaches operators to meet company/ client expectations, checks and instructs periodically on proper revenue and fare box data collection, and recommends training appropriate to ensure compliance with all client and company policies.

• Conducts time point and passenger load checks to ensure schedule and route efficiency.

• Audits service, routes, and road conditions and recommends alternate routes to Dispatch or suggest service improvements, as appropriate. Recommends adjustments to running time or additions/ deletions to schedules and routes to ensure quality service.

• Writes reports regarding service disruptions, security incidents, and operator performance/ behavior in accordance with policies and procedures. May assist operators in filing of reports.

• Assists in the processing and follow-up of customer service complaints and requests.

• Assesses ability of operators to continue in service when investigating accidents, incidents, and other issues affecting safety.

• Coordinates problem resolution with operators, management, passenger, and the public.

• Performs as assigned during special events and weather emergencies to minimize service disruption.

• Performs physical work as needed, such as sanding, assisting stuck/sidetracked buses, making bus trades, and helping wheelchair passenger on or off buses, etc.

• Inspects buses and employees for safety compliance, and equipment maintenance condition.

Minimum Requirements:

• Commitment to work any assigned shift in our 24/7 operation, including holiday, split shifts, nights, and weekends and in all weather conditions.

• Prior transportation supervisory experience.

• Prior transit experience, preferably in Colorado.

• Demonstrated knowledge of DOT regulations.

• High School Diploma/ GED with strong preference for college education substantiated with college transcript(s).

• Maintaining a CDL B with P endorsement.
