Job Summary

The VP Corporate Development is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies for process automation within finance, identifying opportunities to streamline repetitive tasks, reduce manual intervention, and enhance operational efficiency. They lead the design, configuration, and implementation of automation solutions such as workflow automation and data analytics tools to optimize treasury processes including cash management, payments, risk management, and reporting. Working in conjunction with the SVP Corporate Finance and Senior Directors, the VP will drive the integration of financial systems (Treasury Management Systems, Enterprise Resource Planning, banking platforms) to ensure seamless data flow, accurate reporting, and efficient operations. They collaborate closely with IT, accounting and planning teams to evaluate, select, and implement software solutions aligned with business objectives and security requirements. Additionally, the VP Corporate Finance plays a crucial role in coordinating relationships with banks and financial institutions to optimize financing solutions in alignment with the company's strategic objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities in Treasury, Cash & Risk Management, process automation, and financial systems integration, providing expert guidance to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development and execution of finance strategies, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, Operations) to assess current processes, identify areas for automation, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain the integrity and reliability of financial systems and automation tools.
  • Coordinate relationships with banks and external partners to optimize financing solutions, including credit facilities, cash management services, and investment products, in alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Stay informed about market trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in treasury management and financial systems integration, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Lead the execution of financing transactions, prepare presentations and reports for senior management and external stakeholders, and provide strategic insights to support decision-making and capital allocation priorities.
  • Provide training and support to treasury, cash and risk management staff on new processes, automation tools, and system functionalities, ensuring adoption and proficiency across the organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, MBA preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • Certified Treasury, Risk and Cash Management Professional preferred
  • 10+ years of Treasury, Cash & Risk Management operational experience
  • Strong background in automation, capital markets, system implementation, and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $178,500.00-$255,000.00/year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
