The Maritime System Division (MSD) of Leidos’ is seeking a Materials Requisitioner / Planner in the Long Beach, MS facility in a growing, fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage the fulfillment acquisition process.

• Create purchase requisitions in CostPoint.

• Communicate effectively with DOD industry suppliers and cultivate meaningful relationships.

• Manage Leidos required supplier paperwork.

• Collaborate with product engineering, production planning, purchasing and quality teams for mission success.

• Track supplier on time delivery.

• Follow-up as required with all teams to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectation.

• Maintain purchasing records and purchasing BOM status.

• Data analysis.

• Understand production flow.

• Create, open and close manufacturing orders.

• Other administrative duties as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2-4 years of relevant procurement experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Exposure to supply chain and commodity management in DFAR environment.

• Strong customer interface skills.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.

• Individual must possess strong characteristics around initiative, attitude, assertiveness and sense of urgency

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Must be a US Citizen and meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance

Preferred Experience

• DoD or Military contract experience

• Supply chain experience.

• Procurement experience using CostPoint.

• Experience in Solumina.

• Ability to read mechanical drawing and data sheets

Pay Range:

Pay Range $50,700.00 - $91,650.00
