We have an open position for a Project Manager / Pre- Construction to work onsite for one of our clients.

Salary: $104,000-$124,000

General Responsibilities
Responsible for managing the Design and Construction process.
Administers the selection process of the architect/engineer and any other consultants involved in the project.
Leads and directs the progress, including initial planning, scope development, contracting, construction administration, and closeout; maintains day-to-day project-level leadership responsibility throughout the project life cycle.
Define the project's objectives, determine the appropriate partners, and oversee quality control while meeting strict deadlines and managing the budget.
Responsible for preparing, managing, and supporting the documentation required for a post-performance review, audit, or other governing agency process inspection.
Manages and monitors contract budgets; interacts with the Division Fiscal Manager to reconcile contracts and budgets and to report on monthly cash flow activities.
Participates and manages the project design consultants in developing plans and specifications.
Support design team activities and facilitate timely decision-making.
Guides design decisions by project stakeholders to maintain the project scope within the approved budget. Coordinates the value engineering process.
Prepares schematic, preliminary, and construction document submittals.
Other governing agencies process inspection for any project.
Obtains or assists in the procurement of all required plan reviews before bidding. These include, but are not limited to, the State Fire Marshal, Division of the State Architect, plan check agencies for life safety and code compliance, Seismic Peer Review, Mechanical Systems Review, Commissioning (if necessary), or other agencies that may be necessary based on the scope of work for the project. Ensures compliance with regulations and that all authorities have jurisdiction.
Fully administer all contractor bidding. Creates the documents for and manages the Contractor selection and subcontractor bidding processes.
Prepare Request for Qualifications (RFQs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs), along with managing the pre-qualification process for bids.
Supervise, consult, and provide direction to contracted architects, engineers, consultants, and specialty vendors.
Position Requirements
Experience in implementing and executing energy-efficient projects involving energy retrofits, solar and battery storage
Proven working experience in construction management (minimum five years)
Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods
Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
Understanding all facets of the construction process
Familiarity with construction management software packages
Experienced in education-building infrastructure preferred
Leadership and human resources management skills
Excellent time and project management skills
BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field. Alternatively, an inspection diploma or another related construction trade diploma
