Facilities Maintenance Technician needed for Manufacturing Environment

Job Description

This position requires the ability to work the 1st shift from 5am to 1:35pm, with the potential for overtime.

The ideal candidate will work on a diverse team towards a common goal, adapting to the changing needs of a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Adjusting to the changing needs of a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Problem solving and continuously improving safety, quality, and productivity.

• Maintaining the ground cleanliness and organization of the entire facility, including parking lots.

• Operating equipment including sweeper, scrubber, scissor lift, and forklift.

• Handling chemicals and cleaning materials safely.

• Maintaining cleanliness of the sweeper and scrubber at the end of the shift.

• Performing janitorial duties (cleaning restrooms, dumping trash, etc.) as needed.

• Performing daily facility restroom cleaning and reporting condition status to the team.

• Grounds cleaning, including weekly cleanup of sidewalk.

MUST HAVES

• Electrical maintenance

• Equipment maintenance

• Maintenance technician

• Troubleshooting & repair/replace

• Forklift operation (6 months or more experience)
