Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Long Beach, California. The role involves managing various aspects of accounts receivable, ensuring precision and promptness in invoice processing, and maintaining excellent customer relationships. The successful candidate will join a dynamic workplace in the telecom industry.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and process invoices while ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies

• Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts to ensure timely collections

• Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and resolve any discrepancies

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all receivable transactions

• Prepare and distribute regular reports on accounts receivable status to management

• Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and payment issues

• Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients regarding billing inquiries and payment arrangements

• Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed

• Utilize accounting software systems and Microsoft Office Suites to perform accounting functions effectively. Requirements • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC)

• Experience with IBM AS/400

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Skilled in use of Microsoft Office Suites

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Billing Functions

• Ability to handle Cash Activity

• Experience in Check Processing
