The role of the Manager, Clinical Marketing Strategy is under the direction of the Senior Manager of Professional Marketing. The appointed individual will be responsible for developing and implementing clinical marketing strategies or campaigns based on market growth opportunities or new clinical strategies, paid podium opportunities and the use and management of KOLs for CNA/Cochlear marketing purposes.

Key Responsibilities

Establish and support clinical marketing strategies & campaigns based on market growth opportunities or clinical strategies, including creation of data-driven commercial content with collaboration of key internal and external stakeholders.

  • Utilize approved scientific and clinical evidence through professional channels; convert evidence into action.
  • Develop Peer to Peer Webinars (AO, Cochlear LMS, etc.)
  • Lead development of agenda, content and execution of Owned Podium activities (ACIA, AAA, etc.); Marketing partner, consulted on earned podium

Lead and manage strategy for KOL Management & Engagement

  • Support commercial discussions and consensus meetings with KOLs and advisory boards to identify and understand customer and product needs, test clinical narratives and disseminate thought-leading, industry-relevant content, in collaboration with Product Management & Clinical teams.
  • Assist in identifying best practice, market shaping or thought leadership opportunities for professionals in the hearing industry
  • Lead Management of KOL tracking through relevant systems
  • Partner with KOLs to complete Consulting agreements and complete payment

Champion the voice of the customer and provide clinical mentorship with cross-functional and inter-departmental

  • Serve as Clinical Marketing SME for early product definition and development to champion clinical and customer needs.
  • Understand consumer and product needs and maintain clinical and product expertise through relevant professional development, conference attendance, and self-directed learning opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5-10 years relevant experience
  • Audiology or related scientific background
  • Advanced science or medical degree required
  • Relevant medical device or hearing industry experience
  • Working knowledge of statistical concepts and techniques
  • Familiarity with medical journal publication and requirements
  • Collaborative teamwork track record
  • Exceptional business communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to understand and interpret medical data and strategic concepts
  • Growth and change mindset

In addition to the opportunity to develop your knowledge and grow professionally, we offer competitive wages and benefits.

  • Pay Range in the United States: $100,000 - $110,000 based upon experience, as well as an annual bonus opportunity of 15% of base salary. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
