Sierra Nevada Corporation Logistics & Training Lead (Contingent on Contract Award) in Lone Tree, Colorado
SNC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Logistics, Training, and Documentation Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in logistics for aircraft weapon systems, including handling and loading. Additionally, experience with the utilization of a CMBRE device and development of a Munitions Application Program (MAP) is preferred. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of logistics personnel, developing logistics plans and procedures, providing training to personnel, and maintaining necessary documentation.

Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of logistics personnel
Develop and implement logistics plans, policies, and procedures for aircraft weapon systems
Ensure compliance with regulations and policies regarding the handling and loading of weapon systems
Provide training to logistics personnel on the safe and effective handling of weapon systems
Develop and maintain documentation related to logistics operations and procedures
Utilize CMBRE device and develop Munitions Application Program (MAP)
Develop and qualify weapon container systems as needed
Must-haves:
Bachelor's Degree in a related Engineering discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics for aircraft weapon systems, including handling and loading
Higher-level degree may substitute for relevant experience
Thorough understanding of engineering principles and practices
Advanced analytical skills
Experience working in multi-disciplinary design & development teams
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
US citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance
Preferred:
Understanding of Military Specifications and Standards
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, US Department of Defense and/or US Military
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Experience with the utilization of a CMBRE device and development of a Munitions Application Program (MAP)
Development and qualification of weapon container systems

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $104,827.91 - $144,138.38. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
