What will you do in this role?

  • Underwrite new and renewal PI risks within dept appetite and guidelines.

  • Able to introduce profitable new business to AXIS and to manage a portfolio within the product line. Accountable for the results.

  • Broad relationships across the market with many brokers / Clients

  • Trusted to operate within the underwriting guidelines with full underwriting authority. Able to undertake all the analysis required and prepare and submit all the necessary documentation to support underwriting decisions.

  • Recognised PI market professional either with a broking or underwriting background

  • Able to run with projects such as product development, rating model improvements or similar, managing the internal and external interfaces and delivering the project on time with a successful outcome.

  • Able to undertake analysis on the existing portfolio and identify areas where changes could impact and improve financial performance or operational performance.

You may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and activities appropriate to the nature of this role.

About You:

What you need to have:

  • A minimum of three years relevant experience in the PI Market either as an underwriter or broker.

  • Ideally with or working towards ACII.

  • Experience of Microsoft office applications

  • Decisions based on data and analytics, using experience and judgement to get to the result.

Role Factors:

This role will require you to be in the London office at least three days per week.
