Job Description:

We're currently hiring for a Software Engineer within the HR Product Family to serve as a Technical Consultant and TAO within the HR Suite of applications. The successful candidate will be one of several Engineers supporting our various technology and vendor management partners to help integrate new capabilities to our HR Business Partners while also ensuring compliance with technology controls. As one of several Technology Asset Owners (TAO) for the HR Portfolio of applications you'll have the opportunity to work with multiple vendors and partners to learn about new services and capabilities that are coming to the HR Product Family.

As a Technical Consultant, broad technical skills and experience will be invaluable to help guide conversations between technical and non-technical partners. You'll be the face of "Technology" for our partners to help engage with delivery partners while ensuring control standards are met.

As a TAO managing the HR Portfolio of applications, this role encompasses a mix of governance and oversight duties, combined with an application support role. There is a strong emphasis on vendor and relationship management, as you will be working closely with Corporate Vendor Management teams, external service providers, business partners and control partners to deliver on Objectives and Key Results for the HR Product Family

Some of what you may be asked to do, includes:

  • Technical Support and Consulting for business partners and vendor managers who are looking to engage with Technology, but aren't sure how to proceed – you'll be the trusted partner to help guide our partners through intakes and intake assessments

  • As a Technical Consultant, assist with intake, triage and prioritization of requests from Technology partners such as ITS. This often includes (but is not limited to), PingFed Certificate updates and renewals, Tibco Mailbox Encryption Key renewals, SSL / Certificate Renewals, ITS / Infrastructure related requests

  • Assist with troubleshooting and analyzing problems with SaaS applications, and guide partners and vendors through resolution

  • Application governance, to keep TDAR / ABoR (TD Asset Registry / Application Book of Record) records up to date and current

  • Annual Reviews and attestations with respect to TDAR and Diamond related attestations for data accuracy

  • Work closely with control partners on annual control functions, such as CGAs (Control Gap Assessments) and TARAs (Technology Application Risk Assessments)

  • Work closely with Vendor Management teams, Vendors, Business Partners, TS Leaders and Control Partners on Archer Issues and Findings to ensure control gaps are correctly documented, signed-off, tracked and remediated to ensure no findings go overdue.

  • Work closely with Business partners and control partners on annual SOX audits and Common Process Audits

Job Requirements

The successful candidate should have a post-secondary degree in a related field (such as Technology, Software Engineering, HR Operations or Technical Risk Management)

Key Skills and Experience we are looking for includes:

  • Familiarity and Experience with Technology Asset Owner (TAO) accountabilities

  • Strong Written and Oral communication skills, as the successful candidate will work closely with Vendors, Vendor Management and HR Business partners

  • Audit Experience related to systems and applications (change management, access management)

  • Candidates with Experiencing Managing Technology Control findings in Archer will be at an advantage

  • A Broad Technical Background to support technical conversations with vendors of SaaS applications
