About the role:

The Buyer Level II is a critical role within Aria Filtra Supply Chain Team responsible for supplier management, procurement of key category commodities while focusing on maintaining project schedules, budget control and contributing to material margin enhancements. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, Aria Filtra, the role’s purview includes supporting strategic and tactical purchasing .

In this role, you will:

  • Owns the commodity management process for the assigned categories, from upfront sales support, through the Purchase 2 Pay (P2P) Process including but not limited to: RFQs, order placement, order managements and reconciliation of; shipments, invoicing, warranty claims, etc.

  • Conducts negotiations, procurement, of buyout type commodities (valves, instruments, rotating equipment, compressors, receivers, hardware, etc.)

  • Reviews requisitions and Engineering releases for completeness to ensure items and services quoted are a match, specifications are met, and scope of work is entirely captured (added value.)

  • Ensure the most accurate material costs are updated and communicated across the business.

  • Supplier Management – ensure that suppliers meet contractual obligations and evaluated on their performance. Sources, qualifies, develops, and approves suppliers using an established supplier qualification process.

Are you qualified? The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management, with a minimum of 3-5 years Procurement/Category Experience.

  • MRP / ERP materials planning system experience i.e.: SAP/LN.

  • Knowledge of Project Life Cycle.

  • Strong user experience with Microsoft Office applications; especially Excel, Word, MS Project, and Reporting.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Prefer CSCMP and/or ISM certification or commitment to pursue on a yearly basis.

  • Project Business Experience a plus.

  • LN experience a plus.

  • Strong digital literacy (data analysis, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, statistical tools
