Veralto Buyer I - Hybrid in London, Ontario

Accountabilities

  • Supports the commodity management process for supply chain categories; from upfront sales support, through the Purchase 2 Pay (P2P) Process including but not limited to: RFQs, order placement, order managements and reconciliation of; shipments, invoicing, warranty claims, etc.

  • Conducts negotiations, procurement, of buyout type commodities (as assigned) including but not limited to system projects, aftermarket, mobile, R&D and piloting.

  • Support and owns the tracking of the Approved Vendors List and Onboarding process.

  • Reviews requisitions and Engineering releases for completeness to ensure items and services quoted are a match, specifications are met, and scope of work is entirely captured (added value.)

  • Ensure the most accurate material costs are updated and communicated across the business.

  • Supplier Management – ensure that suppliers meet contractual obligations and evaluated on their performance. Sources, qualifies, develops, and approves suppliers using an established supplier qualification process.

  • Support our QA processes; discuss warranty issue and/or unacceptable goods or services with quality assurance personnel and our suppliers to determine; root cause, preventative measures and take corrective action.

  • Accurately maintain Project Procurement Plans and Project Materials Budgets.

  • Annual Cost Reduction Programs – support strategic plans in support of managing the total spend of specific categories and drive continual cost reduction.

  • Supports the Annual Supply Agreements process– develop and implement master suppler agreements for responsible categories.

  • Value Analysis Programs - Engage and supports the disciplines to engage with internal owners and vendors to develop methods of cost reduction.

  • Has the ability to understand and effectively prioritize workload and work closely with peers and cross functional partners to efficiently manage the assigned categories.

  • Possess the skills and capability of managing multiple projects.
