Duties and responsibilities related to the Wine Lounge Supervisor *role *

• Oversee the storage and rotation of wine inventory,maintainingoptimalconditions for aging and serving.

• Maintain knowledge of beverage inventory, including stocking and updating the '86' board.

• Provide personalized recommendations and guidance to guests on wineselection, ensuring an exceptional and memorable dining experience.

• Suggest and sell wine, wine tasting experiences, and non-wine products.

• Drive beverage sales on the floor by upselling, recommending, educating, and interacting with guests.

• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and refine wine pairings for seasonal menus andspecial events.

• Attend regular wine tastings and educational sessions to enhance your understanding of wine.

• Stay updated with industry trends and new wine releases to continuously improve the wine program.

*About you *

We are looking for a candidate who is adept at multitasking and flexible, able to perform the duties of both Lounge SupervisorandSommelier.Previousexperience in a similar role within a fine dining establishment or luxury hotel is highly desirable. Additionally,aWSET Level 2 certification isadvantageous.
