Duties and responsibilities related to the Switchboard Operator role

• Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously.

• Direct calls to theappropriate departmentor individual.

• Manage switchboard console and other telecommunication devices effectively.

• Keepaccuraterecords of all calls, including details of the caller, recipient, and the nature of the call.

• Liaise with internal departments and external organizations as needed tofacilitatesmooth communication flow.

About you

Previousexperience in a similar roleis preferred.Excellent customer service skills, attentiveness, andproficiencyin operating switchboard equipment and related technology.
