About our Team

As a Senior Manager for Market Strategy in Europe, you will develop and execute viable market strategies for ICIS solutions across Europe based on sound understanding of our customers and the value of ICIS data. The role provides many opportunities to work on exciting projects with a team of like-minded professionals from whom you can learn and grow.

About the Role

A key role in growing the ICIS business in Europe. A chemicals and energy market expert with a strategic mindset and solid analytic skills. You will work closely with commercial teams and wider stakeholders to drive and implement market strategy across Europe. Helping to drive market penetration and adoption of ICIS data.

Responsibilities

  • Translating global growth strategies to the region across ICIS products/services by developing and implementing regional/country growth plans

  • Delivering revenue growth with Sales & Marketing via targeted strategies and plans.

  • Identifying size and prioritising regional growth opportunities by country/market including identification of white space for new business and new markets.

  • Designing and executing strategies for key associations, government bodies, exchanges across chemicals/energy/sustainability with cross functional teams.

  • Working with the strategy team to identify opportunities, threats and potential targets for commercial partnerships. Or M&A activity in the region.

Requirements

  • Understand the chemicals/energy industry, able to demonstrate a deep understanding of companies and markets to help build regional plans

  • Display excellent communication skills and ability to influence people across multiple functions within ICIS using data to ensure successful outcomes. Curious and willing to ask questions to test the status quo to provide improved business outcomes.

  • Market analysis: Ability to work across geographies and cross-functionally to build and deliver market strategies. Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscape.

  • Relationship building: continuously nurture and strengthen relationships with industry influencers. Proactively identify opportunities for collaboration.
