The Amazon Business Payments team supports Amazon's rapidly growing B2B business across North America, Europe and Asia. We are a key enabler of Amazon Business's growth and global expansion and have introduced many innovative payment products, including invoice payment financing, a small business co-brand credit card, and a distinctive paying experience which supports the unique needs of large enterprises with thousands of buying accounts, as well as small businesses with a single employee. We own the paying experience and the payment methods required to support every transaction on Amazon Business globally.

The GTM team develops initiatives that serve EU5, orchestrate cross-functional alignment and remove blockers for payment adoption. We are the voice of EU on payments and invoicing and work closely with product/tech to prioritize features and drive GTM for new feature launches. We partner closely with multiple partner teams across Credit, FinOps, Business Operations, Sales and Marketing to drive adoption of our products.

Key job responsibilities

This role of Sr. Program Manager will own the portfolio (P&L) of our flagship invoicing payment product in EU5. This includes effective collaboration with a multitude of business and finance stakeholders to develop a payments strategy focused on increasing penetration of our invoicing solution, across all business customer segments. The Program Manager will be able to analyze and provide insights on the product performance in weekly and monthly business review meetings including leadership reviews. They will develop efficient mechanisms to seek customer feedback and business requirements that convert into achievable goals on the global product roadmap. This role will be experienced in operating at scale and be able to identify key dependencies between partner teams and opportunities for new programs that impact the customer experience. Effective stakeholder management and ability to influence without authority will be essential for this leader to deliver results. This is a high judgment role requiring Ownership, Bias for Action, Invent & Simplify and above all, Customer Obsession.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience in program or project management

  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

  • Experience leading process improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
