Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

Project Kuiper is seeking a talented, self-directed marketing leader to build and execute our marketing plans across Europe. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting, fast-growing business, working with global colleagues on a Worldwide strategy while also end-to-end owning the European marketing plan, covering the full marketing funnel across all customer life stages. Reporting directly to the Global Head of B2C Marketing, you will work autonomously to deliver successful Europe-wide marketing programs in a highly ambiguous environment, guided by global strategy and leadership feedback as you regularly report on your plans and results up to VP level.

The ideal candidate for this role has the experience and ability to develop large-scale, complex, international marketing strategies and execute at scale through building, managing and influencing internal and external resources and stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities

• - Define the European B2C Marketing strategy for Project Kuiper. Deliver cross-functional, full lifecycle marketing plans designed to meet business targets for each European country where we operate.

  • Build, manage and influence internal and external team resources and support to rapidly and consistently execute world-class marketing campaigns and programs at the highest standard.

  • Collaborate with Marketing Intelligence teams to monitor business metrics and regularly report on performance up to VP level, adjusting strategically and tactically as needed.

  • Deliver continuous improvement programs which consistently drive increased efficiency and effectiveness across a wide range of key metrics at country and region level.

A day in the life

This is a highly visible, high impact role on the Kuiper B2C Marketing team. You will be a key voice in global decision-making, while end-to-end owning the B2C marketing strategy for Europe. A typical day will involve strategic decision-making, stakeholder management, organizational growth planning, execution through direct management as well as influencing close partner teams, budget and operational planning, and more. Reporting directly to a manager based in our Seattle area headquarters, you will be expected to deliver autonomously and under the high degree of ambiguity which accompanies a fast-growing early-stage business.

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BSc in business, communications, telecommunications, marketing or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience in B2C marketing.

  • Experience in a leadership role, including people management.

  • Experience developing and executing marketing strategy for a new product or service.

  • Experience managing teams to execute cross-functional marketing campaigns and programs covering the full marketing funnel (awareness, consideration, conversion) utilizing through-the-line activity across traditional/offline media (TV, OOH, Direct Mail, Field Marketing etc) as well as digital (Search, Display, Social Media etc).

  • Experience leading marketing in 2+ European countries with cultural/language differences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA (Master of Business Administration) degree.

  • Marketing experience at a technology company.

  • Marketing experience at a telecommunications company.

  • B2C Marketing experience, with experience in a leadership/people manager position.

  • Experience managing remote teams internationally.
