THE TEAM
Ticketmaster UK, part of Live Nation Entertainment is the largest live entertainment company in the world, consisting of five businesses: concert promotion and venue operations, sponsorship, ticketing solutions, ecommerce and artist management. The Ticketmaster Marketing team drives customer engagement via our Content, CRM and Performance Marketing channels, creating campaigns to retain existing fans, acquire new fans and ultimately drive sales.
THE JOB
The core role of the SEO Manager is to help create and implement a data-driven content strategy which drives incremental growth in Ticketmaster’s organic reach & share of voice within specific target verticals.
Reporting in to the Head of Content the SEO Manager will occupy a unique and pivotal role within special projects. You will assist the content team in driving reach and engagement via fully optimised, unique copy based on thorough keyword and competitor research. You’ll also be responsible for pulling performance reports and providing insights into the development of these pages and the success of your wider strategy. This is a unique opportunity to become a thought leader, suggesting new and innovative content ideas and SEO strategy across multiple page types based on your findings, while working with a team of best-in-field editors and writers.
You’ll need to be web-savvy, strategically minded, creative, and possess a flare for writing engaging and interesting copy across all genres of live entertainment, with a specific focus on theatre, musicals, comedy and days out.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Proactively work on bespoke projects to develop Ticketmaster’s search engine visibility, particularly across theatre, musicals, comedy and days out
Identify SEO gaps and devise solutions
Writing multiple short- and long-form copy about Ticketmaster events and listings with Search Engine Optimisation at the core
Working closely with the International SEO team on keyword analysis projects
Research for individual listings and developing content around these findings
Engage and enthuse wider stakeholders by demonstrating the SEO impact of your initiatives
Continued analysis of data to ensure sure we’re picking up on emerging search trends
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)
Proven experience in an SEO role for an editorial, content marketing or media organisation
Experience using a CMS (content management system), particularly WordPress and Prismic
Educated to degree level in Journalism (or a related subject)
Experience using SEMRush is highly desirable
Excellent up-to-date knowledge of SEO trends
Ability to use Microsoft office software packages to a competent standard
Experience with Salesforce is desirable but not essential
