Starbucks Senior Loyalty Specialist, 6-month FTC in London, United Kingdom

This Specialist role is part of the Loyalty & Digital team. Working with members of the UK Marketing team and closely with the EMEA Regional Loyalty team, this role contributes to the success of the Starbucks® Rewards loyalty programme in the UK market. The role supports the development of the direct digital engagement strategy working with the Senior Loyalty & Digital strategy manager and is responsible for market execution of the plan.

The focus of the role will be delivering the digital customer experience journey, CRM, and loyalty programme in the UK. Success will be measured through the local market objectives and KPIs and meeting the budget with the market. Responsibilities will also include lifecycle emails, programme and app testing, campaign emails and emails. Responsibilities will include execution, maintenance and testing of all CRM channels. Including awareness, acquisition, and lifecycle communications, ad-hoc and campaign communications to loyalty members, as well as new programme developments and app releases.

In this role you will be an ambassador for our mission and values and will play a key role in attracting and retaining the very best talent. This is a standalone role with no direct reports.

The best part about this role is that no two days are ever the same! Working as our Senior Loyalty Specialist , you’ll be responsible for:

  • Manage the local customer engagement & loyalty plans for UK Market

  • Ensure the Global and Regional loyalty policy and standards across the market

  • Lead the development and execution of loyalty & CRM campaigns to meet local targets and objectives in customer engagement & loyalty execution

  • Front the loyalty development and app testing process the UK market, working with EMEA teams and vendors

  • Build meaningful and productive relationships within EMEA Starbucks team and the Global business to support the delivery of the Brand team’s objectives

  • Maintain the instore Starbucks gift cardsprocess, stock, and budget for the UK

  • Own the UK website including key updates using CMS tools

  • Hold detailed and effective knowledge of our communications and technology across the region to ensure plans are effective and executed according to plan

We’ll look to you to bring your experience , knowledge, and passion in the following:

  • 4+ years’ experience in the marketing of consumer products or loyalty programmes in European markets, with sole campaign responsibility

  • Experience in the selection, management and building of productive and successful relationships with third parties, suppliers and/or distribution channels

  • Ability to demonstratedetailed knowledge of loyalty or CRM programmes and the essential elements of their contribution to Customer Engagement

  • Ability to demonstrateplanning, co-ordination and execution of campaigns and always-on initiatives, with excellent use of data for reporting and insight

  • Ability to form productive relationships with colleagues, senior management, and external partners

  • CMS & CRMtool experience

  • Creative thinker with ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability

  • Able to navigate through ambiguity, with guidance, in a large, complex organization
