The Role:

We are seeking a Senior / Business Development Manager to join our Life Science service line. This pivotal role will be responsible for business growth within the life science advisory and global workplace solutions vertical. Key responsibilities include fostering client relationships, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and leading business growth initiatives.

The successful candidate will leverage their comprehensive understanding of the lab services industry to identify opportunities and develop strategies for growth. They will be responsible for cultivating new business, leading the development and presentation of proposals, and establishing robust relationships with key corporate decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead client interactions and identify opportunities to add value to their lab operations.

  • Oversee the pursuit process including qualification, discovery, proposal, pricing presentation and negotiation.

  • Stay informed on industry trends and adapt business strategies as required.

  • Achieve established company and client financial and operational objectives.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners.

  • Understand client business goals and provide strategic direction.

  • Manage financial goals for client accounts, including budgeting and forecasting.

  • Negotiate with external partners and customers to reach mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • Solve complex, operational, and organisational problems using appropriate resources.

This role is ideally suited to a driven and strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the life sciences industry and a proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
