Google Regional SOC Manager, Global Security Operations Center in London, United Kingdom

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience in law enforcement, intelligence or in a military role, or similar private sector.

  • Experience working in a security operations center in an international company.

  • Experience working in a changing and dynamic organization.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams in a complex international environment.

  • Experience with security technologies including CCTV, access control, and incident management systems.

  • Experience in managing security operations and security personnel and delivering high quality, customer-oriented security programs.

  • Experience managing remote teams, with global operational experience in multiple countries and cultures.

  • Ability to lead projects by navigating priorities, measurable objectives, dependencies, planning, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, implementation and subsequent monitoring.

  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, communication, and people management skills, with the ability to take initiative while building cross-functional relationships.

You'll collaborate with our Facilities Management team to create innovative security strategies, investigate breaches and create risk assessment plans for the future.   • Lead regional Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) operations by providing strategic, technical, and operational oversight. Lead GSOC operations during crisis and incident response and coordinate with other parts of Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) and the GSOC ecosystem.

  • Be a core leader within the GSOC Regional Leadership team and have the knowledge and capability to respond to any global event in support of other GSOC leaders.

  • Lead a team of diverse employees and extended workforce including shift staff. Analyze, develop, and strengthen GSOC processes and procedures, and drive development and integration across the GSOC ecosystem.

  • Manage GSOC support requests and field requests from stakeholders. Communicate and collaborate effectively with leadership and cross-functional colleagues, both inside and outside of GSRS.
