As an Analyst/Associate, you will be part of the Specialist Portfolio Solutions team. The Specialist Portfolio Solutions team seeks to help investors access our best thinking and implementation when it comes to investment funds and strategies. You will work closely with the team responsible for growing our global client base in a strategically important area of the Investment business. We offer solutions across the full range of listed and private markets, all structured to give investors the best chance of meeting their strategic investment goals.

You will be supported by your colleagues to learn about our business and apply your skills and experience to our solutions and client portfolios.

The role will be UK based. We actively support flexible working and would be happy to discuss your requirements during the application process.

The Role

• You will work alongside the Portfolio Specialists as subject matter experts within the business for our Investment funds and strategies helping to develop clear market positioning and messaging for our Investment solutions

• You will assist maintaining up to date content on our funds and strategies which will support new business opportunities, as well as existing client reporting. This will involve liaising with the reporting, portfolio management and research teams

• You will support senior colleagues in our marketing efforts across the globe, prioritizing sales channels and the marketing strategy in relevant solutions

• You will work with colleagues to prepare sales/marketing proposals for both internal and external use

• You will support to provide responses to RFPs, pitches, and due diligence processes on our solutions

• You will have the opportunity to build relationships and assist in the ongoing servicing of our clients (both internal and external)

• You may be required to undertake ad-hoc projects to assist sales and marketing efforts and the servicing of our clients outside your immediate area of specialism

• A key area of focus for our business is ESG/Sustainability and Inclusion and Diversity. There are some key projects which you will have the opportunity to work on, should this be of interest

• You will help maintain our prospect and client database with the latest meeting notes and developments

People

• You will be introduced to colleagues and external third parties and the role will require you to be able to build strong networks internally in the Investment business and to collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams

• The Specialist Portfolio Solutions team is a key growth area for the business so we welcome candidates with an interest in sales/marketing and the ability to gain a commercial understanding of the attractiveness of our investment solutions relative to the broader market

• We will support you to develop a natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels

• You will work in a very collaborative team and have the opportunity to learn from industry experts, to develop your own skills as well as providing support to more junior colleagues across the business

• We are happy to support you towards any professional qualifications, for example the CFA

The Requirements

• We would expect a candidate for a role at this level to have approximately 1-3 years relevant experience

• We welcome candidates from any educational or career background, but you will need to demonstrate an interest in investment and a desire to deepen this knowledge over time.

• Knowledge from a previous role in investment management producing marketing content and sales aides would be advantageous but not essential

• The MS Office suite is used daily so experience working with these programs is beneficial, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint and, to a lesser extent, Access
