Citi Benchmark Administration ("BAT") as a part of Citi Global Markets’ Markets Quantitative Analysis division ("Citi MQA"), independent from "CIS", is responsible for implementing Index ideas in the form of investable indices, testing Index methodologies, benchmark determination and dissemination process which includes ongoing calculation, publication and maintenance of benchmarks. BAT is a global team with offices in London, Hong Kong, Mumbai, New York and Buffalo.

What you’ll do

Implements new index models alongside structuring and other quant analysts.

Works on improving and managing python-based analytics and index libraries.

Gains expert understanding in index structures in one or multiple asset classes.

Improves Benchmark Index and risk control processes.

Understands and demonstrates risk control aspect of data management, index calculation and reconciliation processes.

Works with/support teammates and stakeholders in other regions

Works collaboratively with colleagues alongside technology partners to further develop a multi asset calculation platform.

Understands and supports governance, audit, and regulatory aspects of the business.

Builds a culture of responsible finance, good governance, timely escalation and supervision, expense discipline and ethics.

Appropriately assesses risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputation.

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What we’ll need from you

For this role we are looking for a junior profile.

Programming experience in Python is essential.

Knowledge of financial markets is preferred.

Thorough, organised and detailed approach to work

Excellent spoken and written English
