Visit us at https://www.softwareone.com/en The role Reporting into the Director of Marketing for UKI, Nordics and South Africa, you will be responsible for planning, and executing a programme of events (digital and in-person), tightly aligned to our global marketing strategy and regional business objectives. You will partner with Regional Sales teams to devise a series of compelling events to support the business objectives within each line of business. You will develop a cadence of communication that proactively promotes and informs the plan and activities to internal stakeholders. In addition to these responsibilities, you will assist the regional marketing managers in campaign execution tasks. Responsibilities: Support the marketing team in the creation, management, and evaluation of a programme of compelling and creative events. Leverage multiple channels and support multiple solution areas and customer groups, in line with business objectives. Proactively engage with colleagues throughout the business to identify requirements and opportunities for both in-person and digital events in support of the wider plan. Develop innovative strategies to promote events to the agreed target audience. Proactively communicate planned events to all internal stakeholders. Develop relationships with key alliance partners to identify, create and optimise event opportunities. Own the planning, implementation, and management of events within the agreed plan. Work closely with internal colleagues and external agencies where appropriate to deliver the programme of events. Ensure all events support business objectives and they are compliant with brand guidelines and internal policies. Collaborate with Marketing Operations team to implement the process for event set up and measurement. Plan events with outcomes in mind. Propose KPIs and metrics for all events and work with the Marketing Operations team to ensure agreed measures are tracked, followed up and reported. Work closely with sales to monitor the process of post event follow up, ensuring that resulting opportunities are tracked and measured with the correct attribution. Remain up to date with events management best practice and advise how it can be applied to the business. Step in, where necessary, to support the team to execute elements of priority campaigns/initiatives. What we need to see from you You love a complex environment. An appreciation of digital transformation, cloud and/or software solutions. An appreciation of application modernization, critical workloads, data, and automation is highly desirable. The ability to partner with third parties to drive joint go to market messaging at events. Successful execution of both digital and in-person events. The ability to work under pressure to ensure the effective running of an event. Project management experience. Problem-solving skills, empathy, and diplomacy Experience of multiple channels and methods to promote and drive event attendance. Event budget management experience. A flexible, target-driven, proactive approach History of listening and collaborating with sales and customers and using that to drive event strategy and execution.
