Your New Role...

The main role of the Marketing Localisation Intern is to support the creation and distribution of dubbed and subtitled version trailers, marketing & publicity content of WBD for EMEA markets across theatrical and non-theatrical business areas.

The role has a strong understanding of different social media content types, and you will learn about theatrical and streaming formats. The role involves lots of scenario planning, communication, problem solving and dealing with many stakeholders at the same time in order to get the job completed. The aim is to ensure all projects are completed to our audiences, clients and Warner Bros. high expectations.

They must ensure versioned material is delivered on time, provide daily and weekly reporting to key stakeholders and maintain the high standard of the original WBD. They are to make calculated decisions whilst troubleshooting issues and keep calm in a high-pressured environment.

They should be prepared to assist the Marketing Localisation team and are primarily responsible to ensure all records in our WBD systems are updated and contacts are onboarded within our systems.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Support Marketing Localisation teams with project set up, comms, creative and scheduling issues.

  • Review all trailers, marketing and publicity pieces as they are being finished to gain an understanding of the requirements of each piece.

  • Handle sensitive and confidential material appropriately and securely.

  • Weekly calls with our vendors and local offices to discuss delivery schedules, timelines and placement opportunities of upcoming theatrical & online marketing content.

  • Work with WB local offices and our vendors to ensure all dubbed and subtitled localised content is delivered and tracked within the agree timelines.

  • Informing key territory contacts of new content availability, survey and place orders for localised assets, DCPs and digital / TV assets with facilities, tracking these orders through till the point of delivery for allocated territories.

  • Create and approve purchase orders to vendors to start work requested and reconcile POs when required.

  • Assist with the planning and scheduling of theatrical and online localisation and distribution for in theatre placement and online simulations worldwide debuts with multiple vendors ensuring placements are met for EMEA region.

  • Ensure the delivery of reference QTs, Scripts and Audio Masters to dubbing studios and WB reps is correctly coordinated.

  • Liaise with dubbing studios and territory dubbing managers regarding recording, mixing and delivery schedule of dubbed mixes.

  • Quality Checking and approving OV and localised content.

  • Maintain extensive tracking tools of all trailers that have been used and versioned in EMEA for online and theatrical release.

  • Create deliverables in house where necessary using Final Cut Pro and Da Vinci.

  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise during localisation/distribution of content.

  • Ad-hoc projects as assigned by Marketing Localisation Manager

Qualifications & Experience...

  • You must be a current University student and in your 2nd year of university, looking to spend your 3rd year on placement and graduating no earlier than July 2027.

  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite. Navigation of content management systems would be a plus.

  • Have a keen interest in film, localisation, digital marketing, and new technologies.

  • Well organised and disciplined with the ability to prioritise workload and use time effectively.

  • Able to communicate with people at all levels in a professional and mature manner.

  • Flexibility and positive can-do approach that builds team spirit.

  • Ability to work well both as an individual and in a team, with an outgoing nature and ability to show patience in stressful and fast-paced situations.

  • Be analytical and pay close attention to detail.

The Internship…

  • Salary: £24,000 p/a

  • Contract Length: 12 months

  • Start Date: 30th June 2025

  • You will gain hands-on experience working on business-critical projects.

  • Stage 1: Submit your CV by Sunday 17th November (you will not be able to apply after this date).

  • Stage 2: For eligible candidates, you will be invited to complete a written questionnaire in HireVue. The deadline for this is Sunday 24th November.

  • Stage 3: Pre-recorded video interview via HireVue will be sent out, to be completed in December & January.

  • Stage 4: Interviews will take place January.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
