Opportunity International Impact Stories Content Intern in London, United Kingdom
*This is a London-based role. Candidates must be able to commute once a week to the London office.
The MarComms Intern will be part of the operations team and play a vital role in advancing Opportunity EduFinance’s mission to increase access to quality education by showcasing the transformative impact of our work. They will create compelling content highlighting how EduFinance empowers schools and students through financial solutions, helping more children access better education. This role includes writing impact stories, conducting interviews, and editing multimedia content for our website and social media platforms to effectively communicate EduFinance's global success in improving educational outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Collect and review submitted case studies from across the team.
Edit these case studies into powerful impact stories.
Publish these stories with powerful photos on our website and socials.
Prepare and research blog topics and interview appropriate subjects.
Write up these interviews focusing on key learnings for blog publications.
Use video editing software to assemble videos which show the impact of our program.
Finesse and refine these videos to a high quality.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be enrolled in a credited college graduate or undergraduate program.
Passionate about Opportunity’s mission. Able to promote and communicate the organization’s goals and objectives to external and internal stakeholders.
CAPSTONE PROJECT
Produce 8 original new written Impact Stories and publish these to the EduFinance Impact Stories. Select the best submitted case studies and look for key highlights to focus on in the write up. Rewrite selected material to emphasise how EduFinance has worked with the specific schools and the outcome of them working with EduQuality.
