Job Description

Are you a commercially driven professional who can share your finance wisdom with an accomplished team of non-finance change agents? We are looking for a finance star to join us to drive two global strategic initiatives within Product & Marketing Development area that will fundamentally change how the LEGO Group does business in the future!

Core Responsibilities

  • Be the go-to finance contact on two global strategic projects overseeing budgets, headcount and value planned and delivered

  • Business Partner with senior stakeholders across Digital Consumer Engagement and Global Marketing Planning & Performance

  • Focus on the activity and initiatives that will drive the most value whilst keeping an eye on the cost base and articulating this balancing act to the Steerco

  • Harness your financial oversight and network to make connections across silos to ensure the best possible outcome and minimise duplication of efforts

  • Maintain a keen eye for detail when supervising actuals and preparing estimates

  • Be comfortable handling conflicting priorities, managing trade-offs and delivering sometimes difficult messages with tact and personality

The Brand & Marketing Finance Team sits within the Global Product and Marketing Development Area (PMD).

As part of this team, The Finance Manager will be responsible for supporting 2 of our global critical initiatives within marketing transformation and digital consumer engagement spheres, closely collaborating with finance, strategy and marketing partners.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Commercially minded, ideally with experience in project management, partnering with marketing or digital teams

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a global & matrix structured organisation

  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work in a multi-functional environment

  • Comfortable navigating complexity with the judgement as to when to dig into the detail and when to look at the bigger picture

  • Thrives in an environment where there is not always a clear answer, and a new path needs to be forged

  • Ability to deliver high quality work even when tight deadlines are looming

  • Natural curiosity and a strong willingness to learn and grow

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English) and the ability to engage, influence, persuade, align with your stakeholders

  • Advanced user of Excel and PowerPoint
