Role Purpose

To oversee and manage the day to day activities of the Fabric Team and fabric related sub-contractors. Generation of proposals and supervision from inception to completion of minor and extra works. Ensuring reactive, minor and extra works are completed to building fabric to a high standard and within service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that Reactive maintenance is carried out to all site fabric assets

  • Generation of proposals and supervision from inception to completion of minor and extra works

  • Liaise with sub-contractors to obtain quotations prior to preparation of minor and extra works proposals

  • Ensure team members are up to date with all Biological Barrier protocols of the site at all times and comply with these.

  • Ensure that accurate and comprehensive records are kept pertaining to Health & Safety, Building Compliance and Quality Assurance.

General Responsibilities

  • To ensure the Fabric team are suitably skilled and trained, and appropriate training plans are drafted and implemented.

  • To ensure the Fabric Technicians are undertaking work tasks as directed and with suitable H&S awareness/implementation.

  • Ensure an awareness and compliance to the contractual KPI’s/SLA’s.

  • Ensure the Computerized maintenance management system ‘Planon’, is kept up to date and that reactive tasks are closed out with accurate data captured.

  • Any other task as directed by the account management team.
