12 month fixed term contract Media Manager to support Enterprise Marketing and Data company-wide demand capture and performance marketing initiatives within one of the world’s leading manufacturers and marketers of prestige skin care, makeup, fragrance and hair care products. Sitting in the Enterprise Marketing, Data & ELC Studios team, this person will work on the demand capture & performance marketing strategic planning and partner across the portfolio of 19 brands including Estée Lauder, Jo Malone London, Clinique, MAC and Tom Ford to deliver regional business performance.

This person must be a subject matter expert in all aspects of performance marketing including search, performance social and affiliates, with proficient experience in both strategic and activation recommendations and the scope to build their skills in Retail Media. You will work closely with the Media & Innovation Director to support a wider integrated paid, earned and owned approach across all media touchpoints. You will collaborate with other Enterprise Marketing department leads to ensure a holistic and aligned approach eg Consumer Insights Director, Consumer Experience Director, ELC Studios Content Director as well as liaising with all brand communications, marketing and online teams, and where relevant, global counterparts managing multiple internal and external stakeholders.

WHAT THIS ROLE DOES

This role is responsible for building actionable insights to drive business performance with a focus on our primary performance channels: paid search, retailer media, performance social and affiliates. The key output of the role is to provide strategic recommendations to the 19 UK&I Region brands with a DTC offering, on how to deliver new consumer recruitment and incremental revenue through our retail touchpoints including owned .co.uks, retailer .co.uks and in-store activity. This will be achieved through analysis of historical performance, industry insights / market trends and consumer segments / journeys across the marketing channels. This position involves managing 3rd party partners across agency and media owners to improve the effectiveness of advertising investment and troubleshoot any issues.

This role will:

  • Provide data and insights which will inform strategic decisions.

  • Provide subject matter expertise and advice to brand teams to improve demand capture / performance marketing strategies

  • Analyze performance trends across all marketing channels to identify key areas of opportunity and challenge to deliver incremental quality traffic, revenue and market share

  • Acquire, compile and cascade relevant insights in online marketing trends from across the business and industry

  • Support delivery of corporate regional marketing channel strategy and drive through strategic initiatives with our brands

  • Compile and cascade best practice guidelines, sharing the successes and learnings from marketing channel performance across brands

  • Collaborate closely with the wider Enterprise Marketing & Online team to understand consumer insights, identify opportunities for segmentation and optimize marketing channels performance ensuring a seamless consumer journey

  • Develop our use of PPC, Product Feeds and Affiliate marketing in line with industry best practice to drive online revenue.

  • Develop our retailer media marketing in line with key strategic retailers focusing on driving performance insights, optimization opportunities and strengthening the retailer relationships

  • Oversee the performance marketing testing framework identifying key opportunities for innovation to drive incremental business growth

  • Manage the implementation of media measurement activity including incremental testing opportunities, MMM (Media Mix modelling) and competitive analysis

  • Be the key point of contact for third party partners (agency & media partner) to facilitate business outcomes, test first-to-market opportunities and cascade strategic recommendations to brands through a community of practice

  • Ensure financial compliance across the brands (invoicing and POs) for marketing channel suppliers.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESFUL IN THIS ROLE

  • Digital marketing experience, including search, affiliates and social performance. Ideally some Retail Media experience also.

  • Results & performance driven with proven track record of driving performance results

  • A deep understanding of performance media analytics, metrics and dashboards

  • Champion of ecommerce best practice, website metrics, data analysis, and reporting tools

  • Ability to influence and build collaborative relationships with partners and colleagues

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • Previous experience of using GA4, Adwords/SA360 and related Google Suite Tools

  • Experience managing successful digital marketing agency and media owner relationships
