Your role:

Are you passionate about engineering and eager to contribute to sustainable building design? We are seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Level 6 Apprentice Electro-Mechanical Engineer, starting in summer/autumn 2025 . This exciting opportunity will provide you with hands-on experience and academic qualifications to launch a successful career in Electro-Mechanical engineering.

Based in our London office, you will gain hands-on experience in designing mechanical and electrical systems for a variety of projects, from urban regeneration to commercial, leisure, and educational facilities. You will utilize state-of-the-art BIM technology to create innovative and energy-efficient solutions, aligning with the latest industry standards and sustainability practices.

You will combine practical experience with academic study. We collaborate with various training providers on both block and day release basis. We will help select the most suitable provider for your profile enabling you to earn a prestigious BEng Electro-Mechanical Engineering degree, equipping you with the knowledge and skills to excel in the industry.

As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced engineers to design heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and plumbing systems, while considering factors such as energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and environmental impact.

You will also be exposed to a range of other engineering disciplines, including environmental modelling, building systems performance analysis, lighting design, and environmental master planning.

About you:

For our apprenticeships no previous experience is required If you are self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn then this could be for you.

Qualifications:

For our Level 6 apprenticeship you will need either:

• 3 A Levels at AAA, totalling 144 UCAS points, including Maths and a Physical Science

• BTEC Extended Diploma in Engineering – DDD to including a pass in 2 maths units (144 UCAS points)

• BTEC Diploma grade D*D*, with an A grade A level Maths

● An Adapter: Able to remain calm in new situations, comfortably switching between a variety of dynamic and exciting tasks.

● A Multi-Tasker: Thinking about more than one task at a time, while still having an eye for detail.

● A Problem-Solver: You’ll love to give your thoughts based on what you see, being unafraid to challenge conventional thinking.

Please note, we ask our apprentices to come into the office 4 days per week, to ensure that colleagues are able to provide the appropriate level of support.
