WTW Directors & Officers Account Executive in London, United Kingdom
This role provides an opportunity to develop, manage and grow a portfolio of clients and prospects with accountability for retention, new business development, client strategy & placement. You will manage and develop client and Willis Towers Watson relationships, and grow the portfolio within the business unit, and will be responsible for targeting and converting prospects. The ideal candidate will have existing experience within the Director & Officers Liability area and be skilled in crafting strategies to quantify, mitigate, and transfer risk for a variety of clients operating in the UK and overseas.
Client Relationship Management:
Build constructive relationships and lead correspondence with assigned portfolio of clients, and associated underwriters, claim managers, third parties and service providers
Understand the clients’ business and risk management needs and look for solutions to deliver those needs through the provision of ongoing service
Responsible for the development and execution of the client relationship strategy
Determine appropriate solutions, structure, price and placement strategies that meet the clients’ needs and deliver profitable business for a range of clients
Function as a senior resource within the division; participate in client communications/conference calls/meetings where high level, technical expertise is needed
Draw on expertise of specialist technical teams within the BU and across the Group for clients as required
Serve as primary senior point of contact for clients within FINEX
Business Development:
Responsible for supporting the drive of the sales process and business area practice activity in relation to winning, retaining, and developing profitable new clients.
Develop and maintain list of prospects through activities which include research, initiation of contact, meetings, responding to RFPs, new business presentations, accurately maintaining CRM database in order to create and convert sales opportunities.
Respond quickly and accurately to new business introductions
Actively identify opportunities to work with colleagues across the business to capitalise on account penetration and cross selling opportunities
Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant products and services offered by Willis Towers Watson
Grow existing portfolio by identifying new, and/or existing opportunities
Networking – internally with other BUs, within the sector, and with external specialists
Broking:
Design programme, pricing structures and placement strategy to best meet the client’s needs based on knowledge of the client, the insurance market and industry sector proposition
Manage team to identify appropriate markets, conduct information gathering exercises and where required support colleagues in negotiating placement with the insurance market
Ensure transparency of agency and other commitments made to carriers and clients
Create and grow relationships with underwriters in London and international markets
Ensure ongoing compliance with Willis Towers Watson guidelines and procedures.
Placement Management:
Responsible for developing the service plans that define the engagement and timing of engagement with the client
Understand, apply and where necessary explain the BU policies and procedures, and manage compliant processing of contracts as per FCA and contract certainty requirements
Ensure delivery of high levels of the end-to-end ongoing client service, adhering to standardised policies, procedures, and service standards
Support the BU in accurate budgeting, forecasting, and tracking of revenue
Communicate effectively with clients, associates, markets and others where appropriate to maximise service delivery levels
Manage KPIs/SLAs to ensure targets are met
Serve as primary senior point of contact for clients within FINEX
Provide TPL and technical, industry and subject matter expertise where required
Represent FINEX /Willis Towers Watson on industry panels, webinars, social media, etc.
Be a member of the [product] Executive committee
Act as a coach to colleagues, and helping to drive performance and training needs

Provide leadership, direction, advice, and guidance to the team maintaining high levels of integrity, motivation and morale
Support management and Willis Towers Watson in the management of risks applicable to BU

Maintain relevant qualifications required for the role
Overseas travel as and when required
