EDUCATION • Degree in HR or MIS (Information systems) or related discipline required • Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable CERTIFICATIONS • Certification in Workday during previous work with a ‘certified partner’ is valued • Previous experience with Workday implementations preferred • PMP certification preferred WORK EXPERIENCE • Experience within a complex, highly regulated environment providing Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) services and solutions to global users • Solid functional and technical skills in data management and HR processes • Proven project management capabilities • Proficient in applicable HR system such as Workday, Cornerstone SBX, Anaplan, etc. • [5+Years] experience working with HRIS systems and [3+Years] experience with Workday HCM, Advanced Compensation, Security and Reporting modules. Additional experience in Workday Recruiting, Absence, Performance and/or Talent preferred • Experience working with multiple payroll providers • Experience managing HRIS changes/implementations to support M&A • Thorough understanding of and experience with the system development life cycle • Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management • HRIS experience in financial services or global organization is preferred FUNCTIONAL SKILLS • Advanced HRIS knowledge and configuration experience with relevant HRIS platform or modules (Workday, Anaplan, Learning Management, HCM; Performance & Talent; Recruit; Workday Payroll, Third Party Payroll, Workday Help, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Advanced Reporting, Workday Talent and Performance, Workday User, role based and integration Security, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Learning, Workday Projects. ) • Out-of-the-box thinker and a hands-on expert (if applicable) continuously seeking ways to improve and optimize use of HRIS platforms; experience with multiple system implementations preferred (if applicable) • Detail and process-oriented leader, able to partner with non-technical customers and partners to understand user needs and translate needs into technical requirements • Able to effectively partner with IT and non-technical customers to understand user needs and translate needs into technical process and configuration requirements • Skilled in demonstrating innovation and creativity by continually improving internal processes • Strong knowledge of HR business processes ; ability to document processes and generate mock ups in development environments to lead playback sessions for non-technical audiences and gain stakeholder sign off • Ability to identify and articulate options to stakeholders and influence decisions based on facts and analysis • Outstanding Excel skills and experience with project management tools (MS Project Manager, Visio) • Experience using Agile delivery practices and methodologies • General Understanding of data privacy regulations and legislation (e.g., CCPA, GDPR, Works Councils, CBPR, PIPL, DPIA) • Human Resources (HR) domain knowledge • Must be able to handle highly sensitive data with the greatest degree of confidentiality RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide expertise in human resources management systems • Collect data and analyze it to improve HR strategies and processes and suggest ways to increase the functional productivity and workflow of the HR department • Lead HRIS team to automate, integrate, and configure core HR processes  through business as usual (BAU) global governance and projects as assigned • Play a key global role in defining how HRIS can be optimized to provide a best in class employee experience that supports Global HR to become a high impact HR organization • Lead the continuous evaluation and evolution of Workday as well as other HR systems • Manage and scale a team of tier I and II HRSS members to help define and drive the overall roadmap per assigned functional area. • Coordinate with HRSS Tiers I & II, Information Technology (IT) and the user community to identify areas of improvement, recommend changes, and implement functional solutions for existing processes • Manage requests for process improvements, system enhancements, and the development and/or purchase of new software applications  • Mentor and coach HRSS support teams to develop expertise and drive process and configuration excellence • Synthesize and document requirements for process improvement, enhancements, new software, and strategic initiatives • Act as HR lead/point-of-contact for in-progress system implementations, including continued testing and configuration, security administration, report writing, system optimization post go-live, and coordination and management of cross-functional dependencies between HR and IT • Ensure data flows are properly calculated and integrate into existing and planned infrastructure • Support all relevant or assigned functional areas in (needs analysis, research, design, testing, quality control, deployment, training, and administration) and human resources end users in the use of HRIS applications and desktop tools • Collaborate with the team to prioritize work and establish a strong partnership with IT to ensure clear governance in how value is delivered to the end users with the goal of providing a best-in-class end user experience • Work with GPOs & Global COEs to translate business needs into projects, including prioritization, scheduling, and resource planning • Consider quality of business processes as well as data quality and integrity by ensuring a regular audit cadence in coordination with the People Analytics team • Actively identify and resolve issues or opportunities for enhanced user experience and other HRIS integrations • Develop, document and maintain all current and new HRIS business process workflows for efficiency and compliance • Partner with cross-functional team members and IT team members on HRIS-related issues, enhancements and queries • Collaborate with the HR Operations team to provide support for HR technology matters • Translate functional requirements into work breakdown structures and technical specifications via information gathering, workshops, sessions and interviews • Maintain and administer ad hoc report writing tools for end users • Communicate with project teams, clients, and vendors • Listen to customer needs and explain complex technical issues and solutions in a plain and common descriptive manner • Provide expertise in human resources management systems • Recommend and implement HRIS support and delivery process improvements, incorporating Agile principles and practices to optimize productivity and promote quality assurance • Manage system and/or module roadmaps ensuring alignment with global HR strategy • Serve as escalation point for Tier II issues • Partner with stakeholders on semi annual release evaluations • Collaborate with HR Communications teams to develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation to support change management • Maintain awareness of current trends in HR Systems with a focus on product development, delivery and support • Provide direction, mentoring and guidance to other team members for areas of system expertise • Adhere to Change Control processes
