The Role:

We are seeking for an Associate Director in London who will join S&P Global Commodity Insights Digital Platform team to discover, partner, design, implement and execute our technology and business strategy to support and evolve our internal pricing platforms.

In this role you will work with the Digital and vertical business line Product Management teams, Content Creators and Ops teams to lead the execution and roll out of large initiatives aiming to innovate and streamline our current digital workflows related to price assessments delivery.

The Team : The S&P Global Commodity Insights Digital Platform Team are a creative, agile groups of experts who collaborate with commodity vertical product managers to drive innovation and evolution in digital platforms, mobile platforms, machine delivery mechanisms and user experience. As a crucial link between internal customers and Technology, the team ensures the capture, prioritization, execution, and high-quality delivery of requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and communicate a clear execution vision for the product in collaboration with Market Data business line, Data, Business Operations, and Technology teams, matching execution to the strategic vision.

  • Lead and inspire a global team of product managers.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership on the roadmap and project go-live.

  • Develop, maintain, and streamline the functional architecture of Pricing Platforms and related tools.

  • Drive innovation for maximum operational efficiency.

  • Identify and manage risks, develop and implement mitigation strategies, and escalate as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent leadership skills with a proven ability to coach and mentor product managers.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas effectively, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Track record of driving transformation, defining and implementing operating models, and strategic alignment.

  • Proven ability to allocate resources effectively, manage risk, monitor performance, and ensure governance.

  • Experience in portfolio management, project management, or a related field.

  • Proven ability to build senior-level relationships, lead cross-functional teams, and influence decision-making.

  • Significant experience working within a product organization, understanding common product lingo and product development cycles, and bridging knowledge gaps between technical and non-technical teams.

  • Experience in financial services, data operations, or technology industries preferred.
