Overview
What will you be doing?
This role calls for a dynamic, brave & passionate planning mind to join and support the Media Planning team in working for a crucial and long-term client, Visa. As one of our most important and established clients, the right candidate would combine the essential core planning skills with the passion to deliver award winning solutions for an ambitious and forward-thinking client. You will have the chance to work across a range of purpose driven projects including supporting women’s football and promoting small businesses as well as amplifying some of the biggest sports sponsorship properties (FIFA World Cup, Olympics & Women’s World Cup & WEuros). The right candidate would need to have excellent cross channel knowledge and experience leading major ATL campaigns. You will be immersed in the brand as part of a growing agency team who the client consider a genuine partner and extension of their marketing unit.
The Planning team at Starcom build relationships with clients, partners, and internal and external colleagues within Publicis Groupe to deliver powerful work that will grow our clients’ businesses. Our goal is to become our clients’ most indispensable partners by building roadmaps with them. To summarise: it is the Planning Team’s job to deliver brilliant work, seamless operational management, and ensure that the work we deliver for our clients and our agency is profitable, enabling long term partnerships.
Responsibilities
360 media planning and strategy for Visa’s campaigns
Lead on mid-sized campaigns, coordinating responses with Activation teams and media partners
Striving to deliver on operational excellence for the account, including accurate reporting, invoicing, and timely timesheet completion
Independently optimise and tighten processes on the account, working closely with the central and global Starcom and Visa teams
Lead on PCAs, client reporting and proactively look to collaborate with Publicis’ teams to deliver excellent media campaigns to clients
Understand the nuances of the client’s brand and industry landscape- remaining curious and learning from past campaigns
Building strong, trusted relationships within the agency’s teams across Biddable, Programmatic, OOH, AV, Partnerships etc. but also with the creative agency as part of Power of One solution to Visa
Providing support to the team, the Account Director and your direct report to deliver best in class work
Foster a culture of learning and self-improvement through curiosity and ambition
Qualifications
What are we looking for?
In order to be successful in this role, we're looking for someone who-
Has experience with planning a variety of briefs from brand, performance and B2B across ATL and Digital campaigns
Is confident running a mid-level campaign from client brief to execution and post campaign analysis- using the necessary audience and industry planning tools
Has strong verbal and written communication skills
Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment; there will be multiple campaigns and projects you can own and lead with support from the team
Has the ability to remain organised and manage deadlines, both personally and for the team as a whole
Is curious, energetic and enjoys agency life
