Description

We are offering an opportunity for an iOS Developer to join our team. This role is geared towards maintaining and enhancing our iOS applications, with a focus on improving productivity and resolving any issues that may arise. The candidate will be part of a small team, working closely with other developers to ensure the smooth running of our applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain iOS applications using Swift and other relevant technologies.

• Utilize Firebase for sending notifications and other related tasks.

• Use Swift for iOS development and Kotlin for specific functions.

• Assist in the mapping of processes for our transportation applications.

• Provide regular updates on task progression and be available during normal working hours for issue resolution.

• Work collaboratively with a junior developer and other team members.

• Be able to communicate effectively, ensuring daily touch base with the team.

• Maintain a flexible schedule, being able to work off hours when required.

Requirements • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as an iOS Developer

• Proficiency in Firebase, Swift, and Kotlin required

• Strong understanding of the iOS ecosystem and its guidelines for app development

• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services

• Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards

• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial or SVN

• Familiarity with continuous integration

• Ability to work in a team setting and collaborate with colleagues

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
