Admit patients, write medical history and perform physical examinations, order tests and laboratory work, plan out medical management, refer patients to other sub-specialties, provide medical consultation and medical clearance before surgery, interpret laboratory results, provide timely notification to primary care physicians regarding admissions and discharges to the hospital, perform workups and tests to diagnose the illness, injury or disease of patients. Must hold or be eligible for a West Virginia Medical License, must have 36 months of post-graduate training in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. |
