Must obtain a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have completed a dental assistant course or must have equivalent on-the-job training. Must have basic computer skills in order to perform data entry and retrieval. Duties include but not limited to working directly alongside the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures. Preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment. Assisting with patient needs. Scheduling appointments, answering calls and billing.
