Testing Required: Score of 60 or Higher in Word & Excel
POSITION PURPOSE: To assure that yogurt products meet SFI specifications and is fit for its intended use, including meeting customer requirements.
ANY AND ALL OTHER DUTIES ASSIGNED BY LEADERSHIP
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
-CEM Solids/Fat Station: Perform solids and fat testing for in-process and hourly samples, including recording results. Also includes cross-check samples, product re-test samples, and any other special testing. Daily 25% of time
-pH Station: Perform pH testing for in-process and hourly samples, including recording results. Also includes daily calibration, cross-check samples, product re-test samples, and any other special testing. Daily 25% of time
-Viscosity Station: Perform viscosity testing for in-process and hourly samples, including recording results. Also includes cross check samples, product re-test samples, and any other special testing. Daily 25% of time
-Organoleptic Reviews: Perform sensory testing on hourly samples, including recording results. Daily 25% of time
-Quality Duties: Duties include product evaluation, audit support, sample gathering, environmental program, and HACCP/FSMA verification activities. Daily 20% of time
-Incubation Station: Perform pH testing for in-process and hourly samples, including recording results. Also includes daily calibration, cross-check samples, product re-test samples, and any other special testing. Daily 25% of time
-Assisting the micro lab tech with sample preparation and evaluation, including recording results. Weekly 25% of time
-Yogurt Lab Maintenance: Duties include sample utensil cleaning, stocking consumables, autoclave operation, FTIR machine maintenance, and other tasks related to the yogurt lab. Weekly 15% of time
FOOD SAFETY FUNCTIONS: Together with other members of the leadership team, ensures compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans in addition to customer requirements. Interprets and communicates customer requirements to plant production and/or support department teams. Establishes and Audits PCPs, CCPs and Standard Operating Procedures to define and monitor processes to ensure customer requirements are met. Reviews incidents during which the procedures are not met, and determines appropriate corrective action for partners failing to follow standard procedures.

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
Education:
High School Diploma/G.E.D.
Skills:
Pass Wonderlic testing with a min score of 20
Pass Word and Excel testing 60% intermediate level
Must be able to read and write legibly.
Must be able to operate computer for data entry and recall.
Must understand and follow GMPs in handling yogurt and cleaning sampling equipment.
Must learn, understand and follow proper sampling methods.
