The Process Maintenance Technician for Cytiva is responsible for supporting the preventive maintenance program by carrying our effective maintenance routines, repairs, and calibrations to prolong the useful life and optimize the efficiency of production equipment.

This position is part of the Maintenance Department located in Logan and will be on-site. This will be swing shift, Monday-Friday 2pm- 10:30pm and is eligible for shift differential pay. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

  • Conduct planned and unplanned maintenance on production equipment. Perform calibration of sensitive measuring equipment, and certification of production Clean Rooms. Support production activities by ensuring minimum response times to equipment breakdowns. Maintain a log of activities carried out on equipment i.e. hours worked, spare parts used, etc using the site CMMS. Design and fabricate parts and small systems. Install and monitor new equipment.

  • Promote an environment of continuous improvement and innovation in line with lean thinking and maintenance best practices.

  • Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with the Good Manufacturing Practices requirements maintained by the company. Comply with EHS regulations and policies.

Who you are:

  • 2-year degree in electronics, metrology, industrial maintenance OR 2 years’ experience in industrial maintenance, metrology, or related fields.

  • Strong electrical and electronic repair and diagnostic skills. General skills and expertise related to maintenance and facilities activities.

  • Demonstrate levels of theoretical knowledge and practical application.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Relevant working knowledge of a regulated industry and GMP.

    Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel within two sites in same city.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
