Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Achieve growth targets for heat pumps and refrigeration units for district heating, industrial process heating, and industrial refrigeration applications in Europe

  • Take full responsibility for your customers throughout the whole customer life-cycle

  • Partner with management at key accounts to build and maintain positive, mutually beneficial relationships

  • Strive to always keep your knowledge on the highest level to be prepared both technically and commercially to sell products and services that fit to your customers' needs

  • Recommend strategies to strengthen existing customer base, capitalize on changing markets, and grow non-traditional markets

  • Maintain up-to-date forecasts and reports to support the department's demand planning, annual budget planning, and other strategic meetings

  • Ensure a collaborative culture that empowers strong performance and elevates the customer experience

  • Strong proponent of cross-functional partnership to advance product portfolio and service capabilities

  • Regular travel required; up to 50%

  • Other duties as business needs emerge

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:

  • Significant track record of sales experience, preferably in HVAC/R. Compression experience preferred but not required

  • Requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering environment

  • Must be a self-starter

  • Demonstrated business sense and strong drive for results

  • Ability to communicate both technically and commercially with all levels of the organization as well as customers and end users

  • Experienced in driving engagement with customers and across organization functions

  • Skilled in contract negotiations

  • Knowledge of industry regulations and experience in advancing industry standards

  • Fluency or proficiency in English required, other languages (e.g. German and/or Scandinavian languages) are an asset
