Sr Maintenance Technician with Injection Molding (Ensure reliability of machinery and equipment through maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair) Location: Lockport, IL Salary: $37/hour Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in maintenance, particularly with injection molding equipment.

• Proficiency in using hand, power, and diagnostic tools and equipment.

• Operational knowledge of automated machinery, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and work orders.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate issues effectively.

• Experience in troubleshooting, disassembling, and reassembling manufacturing equipment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the reliability of machinery and equipment by performing preventive maintenance.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

• Read and interpret manuals, diagrams, sketches, engineering specifications, and work orders.

• Use hand tools and measuring instruments to assess dimensional changes in parts.

• Assemble, install, adjust, and calibrate machinery and equipment.

• Dismantle, repair, rebuild, and replace equipment and parts as needed.

• Adhere to all plant safety policies and participate in safety, housekeeping, Operational Excellence, and Lean Manufacturing programs.

• Provide assistance and guidance to junior maintenance colleagues.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time

• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week

• working weekends
